Slow Cooker Ravioli Lasagna

With five kids at home, I’m always looking for a good crock recipe – and this slow cooker ravioli lasagna doesn’t disappoint!

This lasagna comes together so easily with just a few ingredients, and cooks up in the slow cooker in just a matter of hours. What could be better?

Throw it in the slow cooker just after lunch, and you have a hearty, delicious pasta recipe that’s perfect enjoyed to a side of bread. Serve this lasagna with:

  • No Knead Artisan Bread
  • Cornbread Muffins
  • Sourdough Popovers, stuffed with butter

Or even these yummy sweet molasses rolls!

Whatever you choose, it’s guaranteed to be a hit with the kids, because this ravioli lasagna is very much kid-friendly.

Simply brown the ground beef, then add in the onion, and garlic. Then layer in your favorite slow cooker and turn it on. Cook on low for 4 hours until the ravioli lasagna is ready to enjoy.

Serve it up next to your favorite crusty bread and watch even the most selective kiddos go back for seconds. 😉

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 sweet onion diced
  • 1 tsp garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp cracked pepper
  • 24 oz pasta sauce
  • 24 oz frozen cheese-filled ravioli
  • 2 C Italian blend cheese

Instructions

  • In a medium sized pan on medium heat, add ground beef and cook until meat starts to brown. Drain any fat. Then add in onions, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  • Add a little over 1/2 cup of meat sauce to bottom of slow cooker and spread around. Follow this with a layer of half of the ravioli.
  • Next, add a layer of your meat sauce (about half of remaining sauce), then add a layer of cheese (1 cup).
  • Add remaining ravioli, and layer the remaining sauce on top.
  • Cover and cook on HIGH for about 2 – 2 1/2 hours, or on LOW for 4-5 hours, or until pasta is tender. Add remaining cheese on top of ravioli, and cover with lid for about 10-15 minutes or until cheese has melted.
