10 Companies to Write in Request of FREE Product Coupons

If you have been reading our blog for any period of time, you will know that we LOVE writing to companies to request product coupons.

Not only can it help you score unique coupons you wouldn’t normally get in the newspaper inserts or to print online, it’s really neat to be able to plan through the year.

Each month we let you know what items are on sale for that current month. It’s a great opportunity to look ahead at what will be on sale, and reach out to those companies.Even more, since it’s summer vacation, ask your children to lend a hand – put the older ones to work to do some writing. I can guarantee they will patiently wait at the mailbox for days after their letter hoping for something to arrive.

Pairing coupons with the monthly sales items is sometimes the best way to save. 

To inspire you to get started, we rounded up TEN companies that will send you coupons if you contact them..

Ten Companies:

Pedigree – a compliment will usually score you a few coupons valid on ANY Pedigree Dog Food.

McCormick – no writing required, simply pick up the phone. Every 90 days they will send you coupons if you request them.

Turkey Hill – always so generous! They will send coupons for ice cream, tea, and much more.

Silk Milk – White Wave Foods is appreciative of compliments, and will usually send you a FREE Product Coupon.

Mariani Dried Fruit – compliment them and you may very well find a FREE Product Coupon a few days later.

Land O Lakes – we use lots of Half & Half, and Land O Lakes is the ONLY brand we purchase. They are usually generous when you compliment them.. they send 2-3 FREE product coupons.

Earthbound Farms Organic – if you compliment them on their products, they will always send coupons, usually one or two free items and several cents/dollar off. You can find Earthbound Farms at Albertsons and Walmart, even Bashas.

Kings Hawaiian – they usually send several FREE coupons, and sometimes even extra goodies.

Reser’s Fine Foods – they make some amazing Hash Browns, that can be used to make really easy Crock Pot Potato Soup.

Bush’s Best Beans – they will rarely acknowledge your contact form submission, but they WILL send coupons that arrive usually 6-7 days later.

Now part of me is going on a limb to tell you to spend your time doing this – because my experience in the past can vary from yours. But… I do feel VERY comfortable telling you that in the past, EVERY company above has always sent me coupons for a compliment… so hopefully you aren’t too upset with me if you don’t have the same results!
