Below are the best deals I could see at the Office Stores this week. … Office Max has a great backpack offer going in select regions – with backpacks for just $.01 after Rewards; unfortunately, the deal is regional and Phoenix is not particpating :( Perhaps those of you reading from other areas will get in on the deal – it will be advertised on tomorrow’s Office Max ad.
Sign up for the Rewards Programs at each Staples, Office Depot & OfficeMax. See HERE to see an intro to Staples & their Reward program.

Now when there is a rebate at Staples…is that a mail in Rebate or an automatic instore rebate? Could you please Clarify? TIA Shery or anyone else who answers. :)
Jen Couponer says
You get them back at a later date. Almost all of the supplies rebates can be processed online and you can request a check or paypal. I always do paypal mainly because then you don’t risk the check getting lost in the mail. Takes about a month or so to get them back. There are some rebate purchases that you might have to physically mail. I’ve done almost all of this seasons mail in rebates and the only ones I’ve had to physically mail were for McAfee Internet security.

I don’t get why Office Max isn’t doing any good Back To School deals this year! Their Teacher Apriciation Event is even /after/ most valley schools have started, AND from 9 AM to 12 PM when teachers are in! I just don’t get it. :(

My officemax had amazing teacher appreciation deals a few weeks ago. I got 20 free crayons, rulers, and pencil sharpeners along with tons of other cheap supplies. And it was on a weekend.

Staples wouldn’t allow the use of the coupon for the 2 BIC 5 pk mechanical pencils…they said it was because the total didn’t equal $1 before the coupon on the BIC items.
