The Lava River Cave is just 30 minutes away from Flagstaff, Arizona. The cave itself was formed 700,000 years ago - at that time, molten lava erupted out of nearby Harts Prairie. The cave was founded in 1915 by lumbermen in the area.

FREE Samples Galore–How do You Use Them?

All these free trial size items…….. what do you do with yours?  I keep mine in our bigger bathroom in a bin on the bottom shelf – and I use them off and on for the kids.

My daughter goes to Grandma’s house quite a bit, so she has a beauty bag she takes with trial beauty items.

I use the conditioner packets to make our own leave in conditioner (squeeze into spray bottle, add water, shake)..

I use them on trips – as gift basket stuffers…….. and more.  Homeless shelters love the trial packets of items, I’m sure anyone would love a little basket of trial items.

You can even take a 2 – liter bottle, remove the label, stuff tissue paper or colored shred paper in the bottom and stuff full of trial samples.

Knowing how many trial size items we get…….what do YOU do with all of them? I’d be interested to know how others use theirs.

I use them when traveling, keep them in my desk at work, and make frequent goodie bags for my friends. Every couple of months, I give them to the DV shelter.

We take them with when we travel….LOL Of all things….Haha.   Really with a family of 5, if we are going to be gone for any length of time, I have to make sure to pack enough product – this way way I don’t have to pack big bottles. And if we are staying at a hotel, they never have enough complimentary product for all of us.

I also leave my stash on my shelf in my bathroom which can be easily reached if I run out while in the shower.  Sure beats running to the stockpile stash naked and soaking wet!

I put them in a basket in our guest bathroom.  We have overnight guests often, so it’s nice to have those things handy for them in case they forget any type of toiletry.

I also put alot in a basket and put it in our spare bedroom for guests. They get used quite often when people realize they didn’t bring everything with them OR they  want to try a new brand. I have shampoo, cond., lotion, toothpaste, mouthwash… I also add little cereal bars and candies for them to snack on. I also make up baggies with alot of these same items to hand out to the homeless on the intersection corners.

I  give most of them to my daughter and her friends who are just starting out on there own. My 2 little ones always take the toothpaste as soon as it comes in the mail. My 13yr old and 11yr old boys take all the shampoo/cond to school and pass them out in the locker room they say the school doesn’t have soap or shampoo in the showers.

I use the shampoo and conditioner on my daughter’s hair. I have too much hair. I snag everything else for me, myself and I!
