We have several of these for the entryway – we have a Bench with a Cushion and 4 of these bins underneath. They work amazing – and have held up for a year already – one for slippers, one for hats, one for boys shoes and one for girls shoes.

We also use them for our laundry sorting – and it works well with the kids. Each of them has their own bin, and all of the kids (except for my 2 year old) are responsible for putting their clothes away each night as the bin refills.
If I had to do buy bins again I’d probably go with the SAME color – it could be just me but I notice that they argue about their ‘assigned color’ more than they do about actually doing the work
