Chances are… at some point in time you may have asked yourself how you can save on toilet paper.
I’m a huge fan of Amazon – and while I used to be able to stock up at the grocery store, those days are almost non-existent now. With 6 of us in the house, we go through quite a bit. Maybe I should say with BOYS I go through a lot – my boys are GREAT at using 3/4 of a roll every time they go.
Toilet paper is a necessity for most of us…….. if you find yourself struggling to find savings here are a few tips.
Understand the Cost per Square Foot.
We helped you with this – and not only that, we broke down the square foot of all major brands of toilet paper in our last post. You want to try to pay no more than $.01 per square foot – but remember that YOUR rock bottom price on toilet paper will ultimately depend on what brand you are in favor of. Not everyone enjoys wiping with Angel Soft.. therefore you may want to pay a bit more for Charmin.
Pair Coupons with a Sale.
Although so few stores double anymore (Bashas)… you can still occasionally pick up some great deals. Just look at this deal at CVS starting January 10th – if you can make it in there that week then pay just pennies per roll. Or ask for a rain check if your store is out.
Watch for Target Gift Card Offers.
Target is a gold mine for gift card deals – they often times have Gift Cards attached to special purchases.. making for even greater savings. When they do, we will always be posting those deals so you can take advantage of them in store.
Shop on Amazon.
Amazon has some great deals on toilet paper that ship straight to your door. You can often times score Angel Soft, 48 Double Roll packages as low as just $20.00– which breaks down to $.19 per Roll. That’s a incredible way to stock up without spending gas to go to the Warehouse or clipping your way to the store. Amazon prices change frequently.. but we will always post the deals when they become available.
Pair with a Rebate Offer.
Rebates are not always available, but they tend to pop up at just the perfect time for most of us. In the past, we have occasionally had these Kimberly Clark Rebates like this one HERE that will score you money back on your purchase – ONLY at select stores.
We haven’t seen a rebate though in a while, so it’s definitely not a regular way of saving.
Shop a Warehouse.
Love Costco? Me too – every month we post the Costco Monthly Deals – Toilet Paper is usually always a bargain there – if not name brand then the Costco variety is regularly VERY competitively priced.
I have heard that Sam’s Club is ALSO well priced on their store brand – you can see a nice deal on Toilet Paper at Sam’s Club with this Ibotta offer HERE.
