Victoria’s Secret: $39 eGift Card for FREE Fragrance Purchase? (Last Week)

Back on 12/12, many of you captured the Victoria’s Secret Cami Deal with FREE Perfume ($39 value)… for just a low price of $12.99.

I did not do the deal (no need for perfume it gives me a HUGE headache)  — but if you did, you may have received an email today…   appears as if they ran out of perfume, so they have emailed some customers a $39 eGift card….. WOW – if you got that lucky you!

The email reads as follows:

Thank you for your most recent purchase with Victoria’s Secret. Due to overwhelming customer response, the Fragrance Gift Set Gift With Purchase is no longer available to be shipped with your order as initially expected. We know this must be disappointing and for that we truly apologize.
We are sending you a complimentary Egift card in the amount of $39.00 which represents the retail value of the Fragrance Gift Set. You should receive this Egift Card at your email address within 2 business days. It can be used on your next purchase at www.VictoriasSecret.com.  The email will also include instructions on how to use your Egift Card on our Website.

We invite you to sign in or register on our Website now. You may then add items to your shopping bag so they are ready to purchase when your Egift Card arrives. We truly value you as customer and regret that we were unable to send you the Fragrance Gift Set. We hope you will accept the Egift Card with our sincerest apology.
