Staples: FREE Box of 8 1/2 Multi-Purpose Paper Starting 09/04 (after Coupon & Rewards!)

I’m working on the Office Ads right now for you all this morning and as I look at the Staples ad, I’m excited at the possibilities of FREE paper! Winking smile

Staples has the BOX of 8 1/2 x 11 Multi-Purpose Paper on a deal starting tomorrow for $48.99 with $39 in Staples Rewards.  That leaves $9.99 left…………… for you to pay.

On RecycleBank, you can buy a $10 off $50 for Staples for a discounted price of 20 points (reg. 74 points).   You can even print it at home.  I would recommend buying the Paper + a small “filler” to get you over "$50”, and then using your $10 off $50 first.

Just log into RecycleBank & head over to “Get Rewards” – type “Staples” in the search box & it should come right up.

After your $10 off $50 + $39 in Staples rewards, you will pay NOT a penny for a box of paper.  Rest assured you may not need those coupons now, but come Turkey Time, when new hot coupons come out, you’ll wish you had it sitting there for your printing pleasure Winking smile

so the $10/$50 would come off the price before the staples rewards? I have never done deals at staples, so how does the staples rewards work? It wont come off instantly? TIA

Staples Rewards are mailed to you at the end of the quarter – they are like a paper cash – that you use on your next in-store purchase ;) So the $10 off $50 would come off, you pay $38 or some odd amount, and then you get that $38 back at the quarter end.

It’s there for me – just go through the rewards. As far as the Refer a Friend, I’m not sure..that’s a RecycleBank issue that I can’t control :(

No way to get it for free. As far as I know, Staples will prorate the reward amount if you use the coupon. And if you use your reward to buy this, the reward won’t roll because reward is counted as coupon.

First, I never said to use your reward to buy it – you cannot use your Rewards to make purchases as they wont generate another.

Second, YES, you can use a $10 off $50. The last time they had this deal about 9-10 mo ago, I did use a $10 off $50 and i did get the FULL Staples Rewards back at the end of the quarter. You need to keep in mind that it’s not $48 with $48 in Rewards. It’s $39 in Rewards – so no, it wont get discounted, because you’re not getting 100% Back in Rewards.

Has anyone used the coupon yet? I tried today and it locked up two of their registers. They told me it must not be a legitimate coupon. I verified the code at couponsinc.com and it is a legit coupon! I called corporate and they also told me it isn’t valid. I’m not sure what to do now. I really want FREE paper!!!
