Staples Rebates are not the same as Staples Rewards. Rewards are issued monthly when the value of the reward is at least $10; if not, it will roll over each month until the $10 minimum is met for that month. You cannot pay for Reward items with Reward bucks or you will not generate a reward.

I’d like to know the answer to that, too. I got this deal probably 2 months ago, and I did receive some “rewards” e-mail from Staples, but I guess I’m just not sure if I can get it again (same quarter)…? I think I read somewhere that we could, but I’m not certain. Here’s to hoping that there’s a Staples Genius somewhere around here! ;-)

Okay, so I just signed up for the rewards membership. So I buy the batteries and they will send me the money back??
I have not done this or ever used their rewards so take this with a grain of salt. My guess is, No they are not going to send you a check. They will send you ‘reward bucks’ to use in their store like store credit.

Rewards are a “coupon” you can use in the store or online (used used some of mine for the awesome TP deal yesterday).BUT, if you use a manufacturer coupon, Staples rewards, or a $ off $$coupon, they will deduct these from your rewards amount. Just a warning for those considering doing this for the first time. (Still a great deal IMO)
I have done done this deal many times, (love it!) and I have used rewards to pay for some, not trying to cheat the system, but because I had them and always received my full rewards for the purchase fyi.
Can someone please tell me if you do get these ‘rewards” it means cash to use in store right ? Is there an expiry date or deadline for using this reward(cash) ?
Yes, there is an expiration on them and I believe you can use them online as well as in the store. HTH
