Readers…How to Explain–Freap?!

DELETE

freap1c_thumb_thumb_thumb

This morning, I talked to a gal from the AZ Republic – via phone, for quite some time. She was doing some sort of article, she came across my site from a friend of a friend (who knows, maybe you?)  Anyways, I did manage to toss in, right at the end, our special word:

FREAP

She got quiet. She then asked what it was……….she was mystified. I had to try to explain to her the various meanings the word has. She then started laughing……..I laughed too, thinking that we must have a funny term. Seriously – this really has gotten extensive – our “Freap”ness has really come a long way. This last week, on Facebook, I have heard every version of the word. In every situation. You all make me laugh so hard…….

FREAP OUT!

I Freaped it.

“Where’s your FREAP??”

Did you get your Freap on?

I need a Freapy car rental.

“Anyone have any ideas for a Freapy trip to Vegas?”

That’s high on the Freap-o-Meter……

I have to find it on the Freap.

Freapity Freap.

“I think I ran into a Freaper.”

I’m having “Freap” withdrawals.

And the most recent, from husband to wife:

“ I went to JoAnn Fabrics – some other lady helped me get my Freap on with a coupon because YOU didn’t give me a coupon to help me get Freapy.”

I feel like I’m a groupie……………..  I mean, when I even so much tell someone the word, they question me. Have you had that problem? How do people respond to the term….”Freap” when you bring it up in conversation?

I think it throws people for a second becasue they aren’t sure if you just called yourself freaky!!! It definitely takes a little while to understand, but once you do……there’s no going back!! Woo Hoo for being freapy!

Yesterday I took my ten year old son “freaping” with me for the first time. As I was telling him all the things we had to do at Target, he looks at me and said “You are freeeeepy. Not weird or creepy Mom, freepy.” He thought he was hilarious. So did the rest of the family when he got home and told them.
