One of our readers is performing her studies at the Fortis Dental Hygiene School in the Phoenix area, and part of their required curriculum as Dental Hygienists includes working with patients who are in need of dental services. This is some great information she wanted to share for those who may be able to take advantage of the services provided.
Fortis College Dental Hygiene Clinic is relatively new, and located at 18th St. and Van Buren close to Chase Stadium in Phoenix. They offer reduced cost dental service for those who may not be able to afford dental care due to lack of insurance or due to income restrictions. All services are performed by students in the Program, under direct supervision of a registered Dental Hygienist and a Licensed Dentist.
The Clinic performs common services such as X-Rays, Cleanings, Fluoride Treatments, Teeth Whitening, Oral Cancer Screenings, and more. Payment is required prior to services, and only cash or credit cards are accepted.
Adults are $35.00; and Children must be ages 5 and above with parental presence during the visit.

Most of the patients doesn’t take any treatment because of lack of money or who dont have insurance they postpone their surgery but the problem becomes more difficult due to delay. So for them this study is more helpful to improve there oral health and other dental issues.
