If you are a Spouse or Child of a Military Service Member, the Army Times announced just a few weeks ago that Spouses & Military Kids can NOW apply for Scholarships through Army Emergency Relief.
You have through May 1st for the Spouse Scholarship Proram and the Major General James Ursano Scholarship Program for Dependent Children… the process requires you to visit the Army Emergency Relief site by heading here.
May 1st Deadline Requirements
- Application and Supporting Documents (Transcripts through the Fall 2015 Semester) can be submitted.
- Full or Part Time Students can apply for the SPouse Scholarship
- Full Time Students ONLY can apply for the Ursano Scholarship
Awards range from $500 – $3,300 – the award will vary greatly based on the student’s need for student aid (which will be determined by the FAFSA). The Leaves and Earnings Statement will also be required for Military Sponsors that are Active Duty.
