The Lava River Cave is just 30 minutes away from Flagstaff, Arizona. The cave itself was formed 700,000 years ago - at that time, molten lava erupted out of nearby Harts Prairie. The cave was founded in 1915 by lumbermen in the area.

Halloween Gift Ideas for Teachers - The CentsAble Shoppin

Just got an email from Danielle today in West Phoenix – she’s having trouble… coming up with a crafty idea for Halloween. Anyone have any ideas?

This is what she said:

So I need some help…..I am usually very crafty and clever but I cannot think of any cute ideas for teacher’s gifts for fall or Halloween. I’ve got Turkey day, Christmas, Valentines and teacher appreciation week… covered but hello…..not for Halloween…Do you have any ideas????

You can make a gift basket.. but we want to put some “different” items in there. How about…. spider soap?!

Shannon over at She is Dallas has a great tutorial on making Halloween Soap with just a few simple things she picked up at Michaels Craft store. Even better, we have a 40% off one regular priced item (exp 10/22) we can use to make it a better deal.

OR, you can follow Kirsty in her quest to make Halloween Soap with some Soap Dispensers, black felt & creativity!

You can tuck those cute little items in a basket – wrap some coffee in a cute ribbon & gift sack (Walmart has plastic gift sacks $1 for roughly 15) and Voila!

Does anyone else have any unique ideas?

Thanks She is Dallas & Kirsty!

You could make a bath bouqet and put it in white cloth like a ghost with eyes on it and a little note that says it’s for someone bootiful. (of course really only works for female teachers)

I made “pumpkin” cupcakes last year with orange frosting and the wide bite size pretzle sticks as the stem top. Super easy and really cute!

You should totally visit pineterest and search for Halloween DIY stuff. TONS of great ideas, free printables and templates. I love one I found for making witch shoes out of scrapbook paper …you can fill it with candy.
