The Lava River Cave is just 30 minutes away from Flagstaff, Arizona. The cave itself was formed 700,000 years ago - at that time, molten lava erupted out of nearby Harts Prairie. The cave was founded in 1915 by lumbermen in the area.

Arizona Republic Home Delivery, Sun-Sat for $3/week!

Newspaper

Capture

Those of you looking for a deal with the Republic, let me say that I was on the phone with them for over an hour yesterday; arguing – yep. I don’t know, but if I was a newspaper, I’d def want more people signing up to get it…….

After almost one hour of getting transferred and having to “explain” myself, I simply gave up. Maybe on a day I have more patience, but yesterday was not the day. Ha!

Reader Michelle sent me this *HOT* deal on the Republic – DAILY home delivery, Sunday – Saturday, for just $3.00 a week. Not a bad deal to get a paper on your doorstep bright & shiny Sunday a.m.

Just think, those of you who buy it at Wags or Fry’s on a Sunday pay $2.00 – so this is just a few bucks more. Head over HERE to see more.

Thanks Michelle!

yeah i got it for $1 a week for a long long time. if you hold out, and refuse to pay $3 they will eventually offer it to you. Multiple calls to your house later. It pays to hold out, I would never pay more than $1 for it LOL all I do is toss it in the recycle and keep the coupons.

I originally had bought The AZ Republic thru a Groupon for $20 for 26-weeks (Wed & Sun) my susbscription ended and I received a renwal bill for a little over $70 (7-days) for another 26-weeks, I called and told them to cancel once my renewal once it was up. They tried to talked me into renewing and once I said “No” they transfered to someone else to cancel my subscription…. Finally after speaking to the last person they offered me a renewal for $26 for 26-weeks (Wed & Sun) I told them that I would think about it and call them back! A few days later, I called and told them that I would accept their offer of 26-weeks for $26 and she said that person that I spoke to did not note my acoount on that special offer- I told her that, it was not my fault that their Reps didn’t note my account… she was really nice and said that she would go ahead honor that price!

This is a little late, but we were getting our Sat & Sun delivery for $9.30/month ($2.32/wk including taxes) … we signed up for the autopay option – one payment every month on the 20th. About 2 months ago, we got a call from their customer service department, and were offered delivery for the rest of the week FREE. Obviously, we took advantage of that bad boy … so, we get daily delivery, for the measly price of $9.30/month.
It might be worth asking the customer service rep what kind of deal they can offer you through the autopay option.
