I jumped on 1SaleADay hoping to find a great deal on Melissa and Doug .. but it looks like the sale is over :( I had read in my email last night but I should have gotten on then, instead of waiting.
In any case, they have a nice deal on a Rotisserie – I haven’t ever used one, but they look like they’re pretty sweet.
Grab the Kalorik Rotisserie Cooking System for $64.99 + $4.99 shipping (a total of $70.00). The same one on Amazon is $140.00 at the moment.
- Roasts from the inside out and outside in, for juicy and tender food.
- Great for grilled ribs or Cornish hen in less than 30 minutes
- Hold up to 10-pound chicken, poultry, turkey, roast beef, ham, lamb or pork roast
- Electronic controlled cycles cook the food evenly inside and without over-browning
- Rotates the heat around and through the food
(If you have a Rotisserie I’d be interested in knowing if you like it……. always been something I have thought about just not sure how much we would use it)

I bought this on 1saleaday a few months ago and i absolutely love it. Easy easy to clean, and i’ve cooked a 5-6lb chicken in about an hour PERFECT. Literally all i did was rub cajan seasoning on it. As far as money saving, Cooking one chicken a week makes us (a family of 3) several meals, and it’s extremely easy to clean. Also i bought the steamer on there for 29ish and it’s awesome also! Steams several trays in less than 10 minutes. I love this brand now!

That was my first worry about it, I just use the hook to pull the chicken (and drip tray under it) out at once, and set it in a baking pan, once it cools the meat falls off the bones with a fork and i bag the leftovers for hodge podge mid week lunches. I’ve found that and price matching veggies at walmart to be insanely wonderful! I stocked up on frozen chickens and we’re set for quite a while!

oh i should say, Supposedly you can spray pam on it or olive oil to make it more non stick, but i forgot to do it the first time and still had no problem cleaning it. I have a sprayer on my sink faucet and it literally just sprayed everything right off!
