The Lava River Cave is just 30 minutes away from Flagstaff, Arizona. The cave itself was formed 700,000 years ago - at that time, molten lava erupted out of nearby Harts Prairie. The cave was founded in 1915 by lumbermen in the area.

2 Invaluable Money Lessons from Dave Ramsey for $1.00 (95% off)

Cleaning out my inbox today and have a whole spam folder of daily deals – with this daily deal from this morning that I missed. Gah. How does one’s email get so full of garbage?!

You can get 2 Invaluable Lessons from Dave Ramsey today on Mamapedia (Mamasource) for $1.00 (95% off) – they are Audio Downloads and will help you learn to Manage, Save, and Spend money more wisely.

They will also help your kids gain a feel for saving for the things they want.  I’m a huge Dave Ramsey fan (I can’t say the same for my hubby though!) – I would definitely recommend his book “Total Money Makeover” – it will give you a new perspective on money as a whole.

I’m not sure how money works in your house, but in mine each of my kiddos (even my not even 2 year old) has a piggy bank. They are in charge of putting my spare change from my pockets every night in that bank. We roll it once a month and take to the bank to stuff in their savings (that aside from their college fund I contribte to).  They each have saved quite a few hundred in the last six months.

My daughter is definitely on the “Cash Only” budget flow – everything we pay for in our house is with cash ( or gift card from a win or something! ) Hopefully that’ll stick with her until she’s older!
