Is there a limit to the number of catalinas you can get in one transaction?

    • ccvanne@yahoo.com

I just went spent $15.19 and still have 3 catalinas left $15. I saved $116.30 (not including the catalinas I have left. The max I tried was 3 catalinas in 1 transaction. I paired up the hamburger helper with the betty Crocker potatos coupon because it equals 5 items, so they are all free + overage. I also used the old el paso coupons for beans and taco shells (those transactions were also free + overage). I paid at the self checkout :)

I really want to encourage we do this deal for the food banks and especially now with Thanksgiving near. I plan to try to get the potatoes for sure.

    • sherylcuevas

Absolutely. I’m puzzled why there are people saying that they dont think this is a great deal. It is a HUGE opportunity to help the food bank.

Totally agree!!! went to FRYS this morning, and while I am always posting I LOVE FRYS, they actually were extremely rude and told me I could only do five transactions- five sets of five items to get the catalina- they said I was quote “CHEATING THE SYSTEM”- I said no, I am working the system and gonna donate 95% of it anyway so why r u giving me a hard time? You put the signs up in front of one dollar items stating buy 5-get 5- don’t get mad at me cuz I want to do your deal!!!!

guess I will go every day and do five transactions!

You need to tell Fry’s this. It’s garbage.

I bought 10 items and got two catalinas… and it wasn’t a problem at all. Sometimes, it’s just the cashier not understanding the policy. If nothing else, the cashier should have politely said something like “As far as I understand our policy…” You should report this, because accusing you of fraud etc is against their own policy (I recently had a cashier tell me I was committing fraud by using BOGO coupons, and the store manager was so bothered that it had happened.)

Are GM cereals included in this or just cheerios? Also what about totinos pizza rolls? Or is it just the pizza?

    • sherylcuevas

Everything that was tagged is what I posted – hope that helps.

Thanks! My Fry’s had different GM cereals marked, but not the pizza rolls.

Went tonight, shelves were cleared. I’ll go back tomorrow! Hopefully I can get some stuff for the FoodBank. My hubby’s work does a food drive, and his team always wins! :)

    • sherylcuevas

Ditto for me, my store cleaned out too :(

I went this morning to get some more Mac N Cheese. I purchased 35 in one order and only FOUR (4) Catalina’s spit out. We counted the items on the reciept, went to customer service, they didn’t understand what was going on. So I am not sure, but perhaps they are putting a limit on the number of items/catalina’s per order now? Anyone else having a problem today?
P/S these are all getting donated to St. Mary’s Food Bank
P/S/S- Customer Service just gave me back 3 of my Cats that I paid for this order with.
